The specific purposes APA was organized for:

• to improve the quality of life in our community through developing skills and talents in the performing and creative fine arts by offering training for theatre and other art forms to all citizens, without regard to ethnic, religious or economic status. 
• to provide family-quality entertainment for all who appreciate excellence in the live theatre experience.
• to function in an atmosphere of moral and ethical behavior, affirmation of family values, and respect for the rights and beliefs of others.
• to sponsor special events involving any of the above art forms for the community.
• to directly engage in and provide for others to engage in the promotion of art, generally.
